Rachaelle Mann

Chief Executive Officer

Rachaelle has been in the role of CEO since 2023 and has previously worked at a national level in child protection in the residential sector.

For over 20 years Rachaelle has worked in Cape & Gulf in Legal Services, Child Protection, Sexual Assault & Family Violence services and held management positions in Operations and Quality & Systems in RAATSICC previously and other agencies.

Sharon Irvin

Corporate Services Manager

Sharon Irvin recently joined the team to support RAATSICC with areas in the corporate services department. Sharon has gained experience in the child protection sector over many years in state and national positions.

Sharon has a trauma informed lens within the human services sector and heavily involved in ensuring that service delivery meets state standards, legislative requirements and providing the organisations required training.

Sharon supervised and supported a large Quality and Systems national team that worked alongside the Operations in each state to ensure quality and training requirements were met and staff were working within the relevant frameworks.

Rita Suavai

Family Services Manager

Rita became a part of the RAATSICC family in 2015 and joined the Cairns Family Support Service. She brings a vast experience and knowledge of the human services sector, including many years working in the mainstream services prior to RAATSICC.

Rita was raised in a Christian home and the values and beliefs instilled in her personal upbringing, is certainly where a seed was sown. From working with families particularly mothers and children and youths, this pathway has lead Rita to the RAATSICC family where her passion has increased ten fold and her desire to see families thrive and succeed according to their strengths, cultural practices and beliefs.

Larissa Walker

Manager, Individual & Community Wellbeing Unit

Larissa Walker (Milbirra), a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman, is dedicated to working with First Nations individuals and communities in Far North Queensland to live violence free, and recognise their full potential.

Holding qualifications in social and community services and Indigenous governance and leadership, Larissa understands the importance of building trust, safety and healing opportunities for lasting and meaningful change.

Working for 20 years at Cape York / Gulf RAATSICC, Larissa is privileged to have learnt and collaborated with inspirational colleagues, organisations and stakeholders to implement innovative prevention, wellness programs and community initatives.

Our team is skilled, experienced and knowledgeable and has vast experience in delivery human service programs within the region.

We pride ourselves on our ability to recruit, retain and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff in the sector.
