Child Witnesses of Violence Support Service (CWDV) assists children and young people with processing their thoughts and experiences by supporting their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
CWDV Counsellors utilise a variety of therapeutic methods to support the young person’s individual needs and healing journey.
CWDV Counsellors work in the communities of Kowanyama, Lockhart River, Mapoon and Napranum building connections in community to improve understanding of the strengths and issues children and young people face.
